Located in the heart of the city, it is one of Canada's premier shopping destinations and is an experience that defines elevated living, offering international retailers unrivalled by any other shopping in downtown Toronto. A hotspot for tourists and locals alike, drawing in an approximated one million visitors per week.
Toronto Eaton Centre is located at the south-west corner of Yonge Street and Dundas Street, right by Dundas Square, which is always hosting activities. Conveniently located on the subway line, you can access the mall from either Dundas Station or Queen Station.
If you are looking for a one-stop shop this really is the place. With the addition of Canadian Tire, a few years ago, and the movie theatres, found kitty corner to the mall, you can shop for the day and enjoy some entertainment in the evening.
I recently visited “The Room” in The Bay and was very impressed with their selection of designer brand names. It was the first time I felt like I was getting a bit of the ‘American shopping experience’ here in Toronto. Kudos to The Bay for the large overhaul. I can’t wait to see what it looks like when it’s all done.
P.S. if you are fortunate enough to visit Toronto during the Christmas season The Eaton Centre’s large ‘one-of-a-kind’ tree is not to be missed.
